The team behind the critically acclaimed narrative RPG Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is already looking ahead. Developer Gareth Damian Martin has revealed that they are currently working on two distinct new projects, branching out into both tabletop and video game spaces.
The first project is a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG). While details remain scarce, Martin has described it as a natural extension of the storytelling and systemic design that made the Citizen Sleeper series stand out. Fans of the video games can expect a similar focus on character-driven narratives and resource management, but adapted for the collaborative and improvisational nature of pen-and-paper play.
The second project is an entirely new video game. Martin has confirmed that this will not be a direct sequel to Citizen Sleeper 2, nor will it be a spin-off. Instead, it represents a fresh creative direction. The developer has hinted that the game will explore different themes and mechanics, moving away from the dice-based survival loop that defined the Sleeper series.
No release windows or platforms have been announced for either project. Martin emphasized that both are still in very early stages of development. For now, the studio is focused on building the foundation for these new experiences, promising more concrete information once the projects are further along.
