Every Game Leaving Xbox Game Pass Today (Including 2 Great RPGs)

Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass will see five titles depart the service on May 31, and the list includes a pair of critically acclaimed role-playing games that are well worth a final playthrough. Among the departures is a major 2024 release that was a strong contender for game of the year honors.

The two standout RPGs leaving the library are "Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes" and "Octopath Traveler II." "Eiyuden Chronicle" launched in April 2024 as a spiritual successor to the classic Suikoden series, earning praise for its massive roster of characters and deep tactical combat. "Octopath Traveler II," meanwhile, is a gorgeous HD-2D adventure that offers eight distinct character stories and a turn-based battle system that fans of the genre adore.

The other three games rotating out include "Lords of the Fallen," a challenging action-RPG with a dark fantasy setting and a unique dual-realm mechanic. Also leaving are "Rise of the Ronin," an open-world samurai epic set in 19th-century Japan, and "Humanity," a puzzle game where you guide a crowd of people through hundreds of levels.

As always, Microsoft offers a discount on purchases for subscribers who want to keep playing after the removal date.
